Yes matey i can, well i say i can i used to weld up damaged plant machines. So maybe i'll have to learn to turn the mig down a bit lol. Plus i have a land rover discovery so that keeps me on my toes rust wise lol.

Well have done alittle more to the escort's bodywork. But now its on hold ,as my landrover has deiced to destory its clutch no warning just bye bye clutch. Maybe it felt left out with all the work going on with escort lol.

Hi all well have done some work to the cab yesterday,so have now sorted the holes on the tops of the doors,and the rear quater. I've still todo the rear arch,looking like a new arch for ease. Then i'll move onto the how to part for drive shaft repair. Well i'm going back down to it now for a few hours and i'll get some pictures of it whislt there.

well have finished the bodywork prep now so just the paint to do. Back to the nightmare that is the roof, managed to close it,with the aid of a rachet strap. Did have the roof pump spining both ways,i:e up and down. Now the sodding thing will only go down again. Anyways got some more pics to upload in abit so you can see how bad things can go wrong lol.

Not much progess on the escort at the minute. Back to square one with the roof. Althou i did gain a pair of sliding pliars. These where inbetween the inner,and out roof skins lol. Need a new battery. The main thing is i've found my coolant leak. Bad thing is its the heater matrix. So am i right in thinking i need to take the dash out to replace. I could just run aload of k-seal thorugh,but prefere to fix permantly. Also need to replace four tyre valves as the alloy dust caps have stuck themswelfs to the threads and won't come off.
Oh well onwards and upwards
